Hi! I'm Libby and I'm the boss lady who cuts the cheese.
Platters with Purpose was created in memory of our best girl, Maddy. She passed away on November 12, 2020 and is forever 12 years old. She spent 6 years of her life fighting childhood cancer and was the bravest and mightiest warrior. She loved dancing, swimming and art. But most of all, she loved cooking and dreamed of owning her own restaurant one day. Charcuterie was her jam and you could always find her with a “snack plate” of some kind. We spent so many hours in the kitchen together cooking and scouring over new recipes. We miss her more every day.
We have two other amazing kiddos who miss their sister dearly. They are also lovers of the ‘cutie’ boxes! I mean, who isn’t?! Mack is the main man around here and he helps do all the mathematical calculations and sets up a pretty mean box assembly line. This business is very personal to us and we pour every ounce of our heart into it. Thank you for being here.

Our Purpose
The purpose behind the platter.
We vow to remain active in the fight against childhood cancer. Did you know only 4% of federal funding is given to childhood cancer? Our kids are worth far more than 4%. That’s why a portion of every sale will be donated to Unravel, a non-profit organization that helps fund new and innovation research for childhood cancer. These donations will be made in Maddy’s memory. Not only are you buying a box of beautiful goodness, but YOU are actively helping in the fight against childhood cancer. And for that, I am eternally grateful. My hope is that no other mother feels the gaping hole in their heart when they watch their child take their last breath. Or that their brother or sister never have to understand why their sibling can’t come home. Or that a father never has to feel what it’s like to not be able to tuck their sweet child into bed at night. Every single dollar brings us closer to finding a cure. Maddy was passionate about Unravel and their mission. She believed there would be a cure. It just didn’t happen in time to save her.

Our goodies will always be fresh and will always be made to order. We source our products locally when we can and we try to always buy sustainable and biodegradable packaging when available. We pride ourselves on providing the best food, the best service and the best experience. My standards are pretty high (I would never want to let Maddy down) and she wouldn’t want it any other way.
I pour every ounce of love into creating for you and every single item is made with Maddy in mind. I hope you love everything about Platters with Purpose! It’s the only way my heart knows what to do with all the love that is reserved just for her.
